Weser School was opened in September 2000. The school was formed by the amalgamation of two schools in the Hameln area, Hameln Primary School and Hastenbeck Primary School.
The school is based on the old Hameln School site and caters for children from the new 3 year old foundation classes through to year 6.
Also located adjacent to the new site is the Meadow Kindergarten which caters for children under the age of 3.
As a result of the amalgamation the school site has undergone extensive refurbishment and this will continue over the next few years.

Admissions.
The school mainly serves the children of British servicemen stationed in the area but the schools which amalgamated had established a reputation within the local community and a number of local german children attend the school.

If you have any questions with to reference admissions please contact the school.

Service Children's Schools are intended, as far as possible, to provide the same pattern of education as that given in the UK. The education will, therefore, conform in type and scope to that provided in England and Wales under the Education Acts, although these have no legal validity overseas. Within the Ministry of Defence, the responsibility for Service Children's Schools is vested in the Secretary of State for Defence. Service Children's Education is a tri-service agency responsible for the education of the children of service families, whilst overseas.
We are proud to live in the town of the Pied Piper but we can promise you the only real rats you will find around school are the ones on this web site.

The staff of Weser School recognise that the use of the Internet and the World Wide Web is open to abuse in many forms. To try and provide a safe environment this web site and how the internet is used in school is the subject of a simple set of rules.
